number game
Personally I would like to know who came up with this.
1. Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your head)
2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT YOUR AREA CODE)
3. Multiply by 80
4. Add 1
5. Multiply by 250
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number.
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.
8. Subtract 250
9. Divide number by 2.
Do you recognize the answer?

hehehe... quite basic math game (pretty cool though). Note: works only with a 7digit-phone number (xxx-xxxx).

For those who want the math behind it :
-------------------------------------
t = telephone number
t = A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 A6 A7 (7 digits in phone number)
t = A1 A2 A3 0 0 0 0 + A4 A5 A6 A7
x = A1 A2 A3
y = A4 A5 A6 A7
-------------------------------------
t = 10000*x + y = (((80x + 1)*250+2y)-250)/2
t = ((80x + 1)*250+2y)/2 - 250/2
t = (20000x)/2 + 250/2 + 2y/2 - 250/2
t = 10000x + 125 + y -125
t = 10000x + y

I didn't work for me...I think because my last 4 digits begin with a 0.
