left brain right brain conflict
See how fast you can say the colors in the chart below.

So if I can read the list relatively fast without tripping up, then does that mean I'm left brain dominate--or that I'm out of my right mind?

It just means that you can read.

I don’t know. I can read the list without messing up, but I usually stumble when just trying to say the color.
If men do truly hang out more on the right side of their brain and women hang out more on the left I would think it should be easier for me to just say the color than to read the list. There must be more going on there than just left\right brain conflict.

I am doing a science fair project on this! Isn't that so cool! I usually say the word first, or is that because I am a female and not a male?

left-handed people i general have less difficulty in going through the test above, since they mostly use the right brain hemisphere.
I, myself (being left handed) as well as a classmate of mine (also left handed) have fewer problems with saying the letter color than at least every other right handed person I know.
The skill can be trained though, to an extent, as the brain will try to memorize the letter colors in the test instead.
A friend of mine had this as a college project and made a survey of the test that included left handed and right handed people, as well as taking the male, female and ethnic considerations into view. He recieved a fairly high grade for it, about an A or a B+ on the American scale. (it's more difficult to get high grades in the Danish grading system than the American. general education levels and expectancies are higher)
